In this tutorial I'll show you how I go about coloring drawn hair in Photoshop. Hair, like any other part of pin-up art, is essential into giving your overall character his or her personality.

A smile, a wink or any of our basic human expression can give a drawn character her appeal, but a poorly rendered hair can make that sexy pose disappear.

But enough of my babble.

Now this tutorial presumes you already have basic knowledge of the following:

• Adobe Photoshop (the features listed in this tutorial are available from versions 6.0 and up)
• A basic idea of how to prepare pencilled or inked line arts
• A Graphic tablet (if you can use a mouse to paint in photoshop, then bravo to you)
