Well, I mostly use the third shade for sharp shadows, and if you look closely where the shoulder muscle meets the above tricep muscle, you'll see a slight shadow. I've also brushed in a small amount of it on the overall left and bottom side of the whole arm to give it more depth. So that's it, how to color a muscled arm.
